SheIn Spotty Blazer & Wishlist
Finally a new outfit post! I haven’t had a chance to shoot any since New York in August (which feels like a lifetime ago) and while I am trying my best to remain diligent in updating my Instagram as much as possible, I still have missed doing full-on blog posts! I am currently on the hunt for a photographer to work with in Cleveland for the next couple of months, so if you know of anyone who may be interested – let me know! Yesterday, I managed to persuade Mel to snap a couple of photos of my outfit on our walk back home from lunch. They are casual photos, very reminiscent of the early days of blogging when girls would just shoot looks in front of their same garage door every day. Do you remember those years? Now things are such a big production, and while I am constantly in awe of the stunning content that is created on a daily basis, I do miss the more realistic days when it was just about what other girls were wearing.
For the next couple of weeks, I am trying to get the most wear possible out of my fall clothes before winter hits Cleveland (expect lots and lots of snow-boot photos). I have my big puffy coats on standby ready to launch; but, before they are totally necessary, I am throwing my favourite blazers over everything (as seen here and here). This particular polka-dot one was kindly sent to me by the online store SheIn and I have been wearing it a ton. As soon as I received it, I paired it with spotty pants from Zara, an accidental combination that looked as though the pieces were made for each other!
I wore this exact outfit minus the white jeans a few weeks ago for an evening out in Cleveland, but yesterday I thought the addition of jeans dressed down the look and kept it looking a little quirkier.
SheIn currently have a whole load of other blazers that I am lusting after! Prince of Wales check is a massive trend this fall and this blazer is the perfect way to inject some of it into your closet! Embroidered velvet is something I always enjoy wearing for an evening out and I love that this blazer has a fox on either side! I can imagine throwing this pearl beaded blazer over all my winter party dresses and pairing this Chanel-inspired tweed blazer with skinny jeans and turtlenecks for a chic day-time look. And, of course, this polka-dot one will be on repeat for as long as the weather permits!
